We were delighted and privileged to make this copy of a Cassini cello for Alexander Baillie, international soloist and teacher.
The cello has a quarter-sawn poplar back in one piece, beech ribs, slab-sawn maple scroll and broad grain three piece spruce belly ie the belly had a bent central stave. The sound was beyond everyone's expectation and was huge!
